I completely agree with the statement that Jen from Duncansville wrote. I have often told my children not to put me in a nursing home because I know that will be the end of me. I greatly agree with the fact that the management is concerned with all the money they can make by making the staff shorter and shorter. Well, let me tell you that nursing homes in my view are just a money making facility, and they (the management) do not care about the patient. I know of three nursing homes in the Blair County that do exactly that. They are more concerned about getting the money that these poor elderly people have saved, their insurances, or the sale of their homes that can bring them the money and not worried about who takes care of them. Something has to be done. Someone has to look into this situation. I hope that these letters are not taken for granted, and I hope that there is something done to prevent the loss of our loved ones due to the management's irresponsibility of providing the health care that is needed.
