Again it is demonstrated that, "What man learns from history is that man never learns from history." It's human nature to seek power over others also when in power to seek control. We laugh when someone says, "Trust me," or "I only want to help you." The powers that be are no different than those running the show 2,000 years ago. They got together in counsel and decided that Jesus must go. Jesus was going around the country pointing out the errors (sins) of those in charge. This worried them because the people were listening to what was being said. What was their worry? That they would lose their place being in charge. This gave them the ability to collect taxes and be looked up to as being superior to the common people.
Jesus Christ was killed in the most horrible way. This served two purposes-- one was spiritual and the other to show the people not to challenge those in power. If they would kill our Lord and Savior to maintain their position, it kind of puts us in a poor position. Accusations have already started. If you are against killing babies, your attitude needs to be adjusted. If you are ex military, you need to be watched. Wanting what's best for our beloved USA puts you on the "right." You need to be watched.
"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts." Abraham Lincoln
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people in the pretense of taking care of them." Thomas Jefferson
"TRUTH IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF THE STATE." Joseph Goebbels
Joseph Goebbels was one of those in power in a socialist state (Germany). He was willing to kill to keep his position. There are a few men who that realize courage and truth will bring the CHANGE we really need. "One man with courage is a majority." Thomas Jefferson
One man with God will have courage.
