RE: Lesson Learned

Dear Mr. Preusser

Apparently you should educate yourself more in the ways of becoming a politician since this is the route you so desire. As a politician, you are subjecting yourself to scrutiny and investigation by your potential voters. I do believe that it the right and obligation of a citizen to make other voters aware of the candidate if they have prior knowledge of a potential candidate's past. Because as we know their pasts often speak of their future decisions, and we all know the saying “history repeats itself." Cricket is merely doing what our forefathers fought for, and that would be the freedom of speech. She does make a point. If you did file for bankruptcy that means that you ran up debt to businesses that you did not feel the need to pay or take responsibility to pay for. You did not take responsibility for your own finances. So why should we trust you with tax payer dollars if you cannot manage your own finances? All of your pasts can easily be revealed and are on public record and can be checked into.

I also take great offense to your constant referrals to problems "with people in this area.” Since you seem to not notice, these people are the ones that you want to vote for you and you should be standing behind your community not putting them down like you are above them. I do believe that you are not prepared to hold office and it shows in your writing. You know nothing about politics or how to solve any of these problems. When you don’t know something you spout off a religious sentence that doesn’t even apply to what you are trying to explain. For all we know, you probably Googled the Bible! So since the only thing that you can comprehend is Bible verses, I will send one to you to think about. I also think that it is the perfect verse for you, and to the voters to contemplate. "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits. Not every one who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. On that day many will say to Me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and do many mighty works in Your Name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you evildoers.'" (Matthew 7:15-23 RSV).
