Here's a Solution

Posted at 11:30 AM on November 07, 2009 Comments comments (2)

Some of you may be deep in the 'rabbit hole' of government conspiracy. Some may laugh at the idea, but still believe there is something wrong with America. We all know that there is something drastically wrong with the current world view. We can say 'united we stand, divided we fall” or "one nation under God" all day, but that doesn't make it so. In fact, the country hasn't been so divided since the days of the Civil War. Right vs. Left. Rich vs. Poor. Young vs. Old, and the list of separations goes on and on.

Personally, I have rise above partisan politics. Endless bickering that offers no solutions is not what this country was founded on. For those of you that want to see the real change that we so desperately need, I offer this solution: The Blair County Truthers Society. We need to band together. I propose a weekly meeting for individuals of Blair County. Everyone is welcome. We tend to make judgments based on whatever the television tells us. I believe that by meeting up and getting the real issues out in the open, we can begin to see that we are all not so different after all.

You think the government is out of control now, you just sit there and do nothing some more and see what happens. They say history repeats itself. Well, that certainly seems to be the pattern, but let it not be the final judgment. We are at a pivotal point in world history. Information has never been so accessible to the masses. We can now make informed decisions should we so choose.

By meeting up every week, inviting friends, family and colleagues, and getting the real issues out in the open we can solidify the strength of our community. Let the rest of the world be divided, we here in Blair county can unite. I want to spread truth and freedom far and wide, starting right here in our own backyards.

Many of you reading this may have attended the local Tea-Parties. I liked the feel and enthusiasm, but ultimately they are a dead end. They are few and far between. Plus, the issues discussed were not open to public consideration. I attended both of them in this area. Both times I tried to take the microphone and speak some truth to you folks, and both times I was denied. Well, no more!

We need a non-pyramidal organization that everyone has a say in. No leader, no corporate structure and no non-sense. For those of you interested please contact me through this site’s Member page. My username is Darbio16. Also, I started a Facebook group "Blair County Truthers Society" if you would like to join that way. I also have a group to get this same thing rolling globally called the Global Non-Compliance Center, also on Facebook.

There are many scary subjects floating around. Things like FEMA camps, swine flu, martial law, destruction of the dollar, formation of the North American Union, Codex Alimentarius and much more. Whether any of it is true or not is irrelevant. Whether there is a 'New World Order' or not is irrelevant. What really matters is that we band together to fight tyranny and oppression.

I know that you may share at least some of my concerns. Do not be afraid of your feelings. Once you see how many of us there are, right here at home, we can unite for true peace and freedom.

Good luck,

Momentum Builds, Blair County Tea Party Considers Options

Posted at 06:30 AM on November 03, 2009 Comments comments (2)

The Blair County Tea Party Steering Committee is considering transforming the organization into a legal entity due to its rapid momentum and rising popularity in Blair County.

The group held its general membership meeting last night, with substantial turnout of Blair County voters and interested visitors.

“As we gain attention, we need to look into taking legal and civil safeguards,” said speaker Joe Mercer at the event.

Mercer explained that the group consistently has exceeded its goals in terms of turnout since it began, stating that he quickly learned there were more people around that think like he does than he originally realized.

Another speaker, Jim Rokosky, discussed the group’s legal options to form as a 501(c) 4, 527, or an Unincorporated Association.

The Blair County Tea Party has held several events since its beginning and continues to plan for future events.
